For Brentley Stead it all started with a radish. She has always been a fan of delicious food, but in early 2013 she discovered the joys of crispy and spicy radishes fresh from the ground at the UNF Ogier Gardens and she was hooked. After that she became more involved with the Farm to Table movement, and the impact local restaurants and farmers have on the community. She decided she needed to be more involved with the food community, and GastroJax was the perfect fit. A sometimes writer, semi-professional social media-ist she’s bending her skills to help the GastroJax and GastroFest promote their mission!
